Chemical anchor calculator Akfix C900
Estimate in seconds the number of chemical anchor cartridges needed based on drilling hole diameter, anchoring depth and number of fixings to install.
Site parameters
Standard: 12 Millimeters for M10 rod, 14 Millimeters for M12, 16 Millimeters for M16
E.g.: 8 (M8), 10 (M10), 12 (M12), 16 (M16), 20 (M20)
Min: 8 x rod diameter (e.g. 80 Millimeters for M10). Recommended: 10-12 x diameter.

Chemical anchor best practices
Drill at the right diameter
The hole diameter must be 2 to 4 Millimeters larger than the rod diameter to allow annular sealing. M10 -> 12 Millimeters hole. M12 -> 14 Millimeters hole.
Clean the hole
Brush with nylon brush + blow 3 alternating times to remove concrete dust. A dusty cavity divides pull-out resistance by 3.
Purge the cartridge
Before each new cartridge or after a pause, purge 15-20 cm of mix until the colour is uniform (correct resin + hardener mix).
Respect cure time
Do not load the anchor before complete cure: 45 min at 20 deg C, up to 24 h at 0 deg C. Exact values are on the technical datasheet depending on substrate temperature.
